Robin Cannedy

Education: B.S. Marketing and French, Illinois State University

Robin is a recent transplant from Green Bay, Wisconsin where she worked for many years in a managerial and hands-on market research role at a local electric and gas utility company. Her work focused on assessing interest in and evaluating various energy and conservation-related products and processes. She also led the development and execution of the company’s formal strategic business plan. After retiring from the utility company, Robin pursued her side passion of helping people with disabilities and continues to provide Marketing and Volunteer Outreach Services for a Wisconsin-based non-profit agency that provides supportive services for seniors and people with disabilities.

Since joining Action Research in 2019, Robin has held an important support role on several large-scale behavior change programs addressing water quality protection and urban runoff along the California coastline and restoration of the Chesapeake Bay.  Robin supports the development and review of various outreach elements including blogs, event calendars, and print collateral.

Key Talents: Robin brings a well-rounded background in the fields of marketing, communications, strategic planning, and market research, as well as both non-profit and private sector insights. She has been recognized for her strong ability to synthesize and translate data into action.

When Robin isn’t developing and enhancing marketing content, you can find her exploring and appreciating her new southern California surroundings, enjoying the many music venues and local concerts, entertaining family and friends at her home, and anxiously waiting for football season to begin…Go Packers!
