Chelsea is passionate about making San Diego a better place. She specializes in environmental and psychological research, with an emphasis on local environmental issues in the county. Her undergraduate studies focused on examining the human impacts on aquatic life off the coast of California, while also developing research projects on a wide range of topics including microplastics, food deserts, pollution, and stormwater. Through her work, she has gained advanced experience in research design, field work, and data analysis.
Key Talents: As a research associate, Chelsea’s primary strengths lie in data analysis, statistics, and communication. Along with years of field work and research experience, she also brings her dedication for making a positive impact on the environment.
During her free time, Chelsea spends almost all her time outside. She enjoys camping, reading, and gardening. Chelsea also loves hiking and going to the beach with her dog.
