Action Research is an international leader in the application of social marketing and community-based social marketing to promote positive behavior change. Community-based social marketing packages basic principles of psychology with applied research methods to effectively promote behavior change across a variety of settings. The process consists of strategic selection of a target behavior followed by identification of barriers and motivators, development of a program strategy, implementation of a pilot, and then evaluation of the program once it has been widely implemented.
