Multi-Agency Community-Based Social Marketing Pilots

Action Research worked with the Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN) to develop, implement, and evaluate two multi-agency community-based social marketing pilot programs. For this project, Action Research collaborated with Sustainability Directors from nine cities across the United States to develop and test two behavior change pilots: one focused on computer and monitor shutdown by municipal employees and the other focused on cold-water washing by community residents. Both of the pilots were successful at changing behavior across diverse regions and are available to the entire USDN membership as turnkey strategies.
