Dr. Schultz is Professor of Psychology at California State University San Marcos. He also serves as a Scientific Advisor to Action Research, where he applies the basic lessons from his university research to create, implement, and evaluate effective behavior change programs. Dr. Schultz is a recognized international expert in the areas of behavior and attitude change, conservation psychology, and statistics. He has published more than 50 scholarly articles in leading scientific journals, and given hundreds of presentations, keynotes, and invited addresses for professional societies, corporate firms, and governmental organizations worldwide. Recent publications include books on the Psychology of Sustainable Development (Kluwer, 2002) and Attitudes and Opinions (Erlbaum, 2005).
