Action Research Presenting at CASQA Annual Convention

We are presenting at the 2022 California Stormwater Quality Association (CASQA) Annual Convention! CASQA is a professional membership organization that helps represent over 26 million Californians on sustainable stormwater management. Founded in 1989, CASQA is made up of 180 cities, 23 counties, special districts, federal agencies, state agencies, ports, universities and school districts, wastewater agencies, water suppliers, industries, and consulting firms throughout California.

The “Tricks to Trash Cans” skatepark pilot we created for H2OC, Orange County’s Stormwater Program, was selected for a CASQA award as an Outstanding Public Outreach/Engagement Project! We are thrilled to present this littering-reduction work, as well as a few other projects that help protect our water resources. These other projects include our Sprinkler Spruce Up campaign for Riverside County Watershed Protection which encouraged residents to routinely check for leaks in their sprinkler systems, and our campaign to decrease abandoned waste by utilizing proper bulk waste disposal methods for the County of San Diego Watershed Protection Program.

The entire Action Research team is proud of the work we’ve done across California to protect our creeks, rivers, and ocean, and we are excited to have been asked to present our work at CASQA. Our staff works diligently to make an impact in the communities we serve and achieve significant success for our clients. We can’t wait to see you at CASQA this year!
